Whether in the heart of a busy city or out in the
tranquil country, there is beauty everywhere. I love the velvety colors of oil
pastels and how they blend together to capture the energy of the ordinary.
When
I take the time to draw and paint a scene, I become absorbed in every detail
and each part of the picture is permanently embedded in my memory. It is a way
of imprinting the colors, heat and sounds of the moment forever into my mind's
eye.
